baby blues.

Summer and barbecue go together like chocolate and peanut butter in my book. My craving for the smokey stuff was accompanied by my husband and some friends. We all journeyed over to baby blues barbecue, a place that always has a line out the door. Fortunately for us, the wait was a minimal 10 minutes and the food didn’t take long either. It had a charming interior (full of art and mismatched table & chairs), great music, phenomenal service, and the food did not disappoint. I’m already planning our next visit (planning, as in, dinner tonight maybe?). Yes, this southerner has found a little bit of comfort food out here in the big city.

{pulled pork sandwich}

{ribs with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and sweet corn bread}

{passing one of the many different sauces}
